Internship period: Summer 2024   The Internship Program at Quest Diagnostics offers students the opportunity to gain experience in communications while working at the world’s leading provider of diagnostic testing, services, and information that patients and doctors rely on to make better healthcare decisions.   This position assists in the development and implementation of the company’s internal communications strategies and processes to drive engagement and create a two-way flow of information between the company and its 50,000 employees. The role is part of the Internal Engagement team within Corporate Communications. ​ Key Responsibilities:  - Support communication plans to amplify and facilitate strategic business and cultural initiatives - Draft and edit articles and employee messaging aimed at awareness, understanding and engagement - Manage internal communications mailboxes/route inquiries - Send finalized email announcements and post news articles to Quest intranet - Help source and create images for news articles - Familiarize and engage on Quest’s internal social media channels

Summer Lab Internship (June 3 - August 9) - $19/hr  Monday- Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM The Summer Lab Internship Program at Quest Diagnostics offers students the opportunity to gain experience in the clinical and toxicology laboratory environments while working at the world’s leading provider of diagnostic testing, services, and information that patients and doctors rely on to make better healthcare decisions. Summer Lab Interns work with whole laboratory specimens to perform a wide range of tests ranging from simple to complex, applying a combination of manual lab procedures/ techniques and state-of-the-art instruments.  Interns will also have the opportunity to apply their background and skills gained in education to various process improvement projects. 

Medical Laboratory Scientist - Group Lead - Portland, OR - Monday - Friday - 8:00AM-5:00PM   Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity requiring the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility in those specialties in which they are qualified by education, training and experience. Assist Lab Supervisor and serve as a technical resource for the department.

Pathologist Assistant - Fort Myers, FL | Day Shift, Monday-Friday   Exempt position is intended for individuals currently certified as a pathologist assistant. The individual in this position will be capable of performing all routine functions in the surgical pathology area, including some escalated issues and troubleshooting quality issues.  The individual will be responsible for conducting gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens under appropriate supervision. 

Cytotechnologist - Rocky Hill, CT - Monday-Friday - P/T 24 hours per week (Flexible Schedule)   $7,500 Sign On Bonus   Performs microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for abnormal cellular changes.  Responsible for referring appropriate cases for hierarchical review.   Performs all duties in accordance with state and federal regulations.  Maintains appropriate workload and quality assurance records.    Pay Range: $41.35 - 45.35 / hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
